✨ How it works

Import it, share it, watch it move.

The US National Parks list from the NellyList Library — 63 items, with a Save your own copy button
1. Import the list

The full 63 parks, already named and grouped by region. You are not typing them in.

The US National Parks Live List in NellyList with both partners' avatars on it — 0 of 63, grouped by region
2. Put both your names on it

Make it a Live List and share it with your partner. It syncs in real time between everyone on it.

The parks list's activity view — 17 of 63 completed, 27%, 17 things checked off together, with AJ and Nathalie listed
3. Watch the count move

Tick a park and it's ticked for both of you, with a record of who ticked it.

⚖️ The comparison

Four ways to track it.
One built for two.

Most trackers are made for one person. This pursuit isn't.

A paper passport.
Stuck in one bag. The other of you never sees it.
A note on one phone.
No names, no sync. Someone is always asking for a screenshot.
A spreadsheet.
Nobody opens it at a trailhead, so it's always out of date.
A solo parks tracker.
Built for one. Two of you means two tallies to reconcile.

NellyList.

One list, both names, and a finish line you can both see. When the parks are done, the next pursuit is already in the app.

💬 FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Can both of us update the same list?
Yes. Create a Live List, share it with your partner, and it updates in real time for everyone on it. You can also share an ordinary list without making it Live if you'd rather keep it simple.
Does it show who ticked which park?
It records who ticked each item off the list, and the activity view shows what changed since you last looked. To be precise about what that is: it's a record of who ticked the box, not a record of who was standing in the park. If you drove to Arches together and one of you ticked it, that's one tick with one name on it.
Do we have to start from zero?
No. Import the full 63 and tick off everything you've already done in one sitting. Most people find that first pass is the satisfying bit.
What if we're only doing a region?
Import all 63 and work through the region you're on. The parks you haven't reached yet just sit there being a finish line.
What else can we track in it?
Anything with an end to it. Every Best Picture winner, 100 books this year, all 50 states, every brewery in the county. NellyList is the life-list app, not a parks app — parks is just the pursuit most people arrive with.
Is there an Android version?
NellyList is iPhone-first. iPhone only for now.
