Delete your account
Go to Account & Settings, tap Delete account and type delete to confirm. Your account, profile and lists are removed. Deleting doesn't cancel a Pro subscription, so cancel that in the App Store first.
You can delete your NellyList account yourself, on iPhone or the web. It's permanent: your account, your profile and your lists are removed, and there's no Undo.
Delete your account
- On My Lists, tap the menu (☰) at the top right and choose Account & Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Type delete in the box to confirm.
- Tap Delete.
You'll see Account deleted and land back on the sign-in screen.
What's removed
- Your account and profile: your sign-in, and the name and avatar people saw on your Live Lists.
- Your lists and items, from our servers, along with their photos.
- Your lists on this device. The app clears them from the phone or browser you deleted from.
- Push reminders to your devices, and this device's usage analytics id.
Live Lists
- Live Lists you own end for everyone. Each member automatically keeps a private copy of the list with what they'd done, just as when an owner deletes a Live List.
- Live Lists you joined carry on without you. You're taken off the member list, and the list stays with its owner and the other members.
What stays
- Copies people already opened from your Share a copy links are theirs. The links themselves stop working.
- Your App Store subscription, until you cancel it with Apple.
FAQ
Can I get my account back after deleting it?
No. Deleting is permanent. You can create a new account later, but it starts empty.
Will I be charged again after I delete my account?
Yes, if you had Pro and didn't cancel it. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by your NellyList account. Cancel it in the App Store to stop renewals.
I only want to stop using NellyList on one device.
You don't need to delete anything. Tap Sign out on that device instead; your lists stay in your account.
