Reminders
Two kinds of nudge, for two different needs.
Task reminders
Any task with a due date can remind you — at the due time, or with a lead: minutes, hours, or a day or more before. Set it on the task itself; each task can have its own lead time.
List reminders
A whole list can say "use me": pick a date and time, and optionally a repeat (daily, weekly, monthly). A repeating list can also reset itself each cycle — fresh unticked items every Monday for the weekly shop — and keep a history of how each cycle went.
Where reminders arrive
In-app banners, push notifications, or both — your choice in settings. Tapping a notification takes you straight to the list or task it's about.
"My reminders aren't arriving"
Nine times out of ten this is iOS notification permissions, not NellyList:
- Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → NellyList and check Allow Notifications is on.
- Check Focus modes — a Work or Sleep Focus silently swallows notifications from apps it doesn't allow.
- In NellyList's settings, confirm the delivery channel includes push.
If a repeating reminder seems to fire at odd times after travel, check your device's time zone — schedules follow the clock you set them on.
