See every photo in a list
On a list, tap ⋯ → Image gallery to see all its photos in one grid. For every list at once, open the menu on My Lists and tap Image gallery.
Every photo you've added to a list's items can be seen in one place. Open the list, tap ⋯, then Image gallery, and they're all there in a grid, each labeled with the item it belongs to.
Open a list's gallery
- Open the list.
- Tap ⋯ at the top right.
- Tap Image gallery.
Tap any photo to see it full screen, where you can pinch to zoom and swipe to the next one. A list with no photos yet opens on an empty gallery that tells you how to add some: open an item and tap Add a photo (see Add photos to an item).
See photos from all your lists
On My Lists, tap the menu button (☰) at the top right and choose Image gallery. It shows the photos from every list, and each photo is labeled with its item and its list.
Archived lists stay out of this gallery, the same way they stay off My Lists.
Find a photo fast
Both galleries have a search and sort row above the grid:
- Search. Tap the magnifier and type to match item names (and list names, in the all-lists gallery).
- One list only. In the all-lists gallery, tap All lists to pick a single list. Each one shows how many photos it holds.
- Sort. Use the sort button for Newest first, Oldest first or By item name (A–Z), plus By list (A–Z) in the all-lists gallery.
The count under the title tells you how many photos are showing.
Delete several photos at once
- In either gallery, tap ⋯ and choose Delete photos…
- Tap each photo you want to remove. A check marks each one.
- Tap Delete at the bottom and confirm.
Undo is in the banner for a few seconds afterward. Deleting only reaches the photos you can see, so if you've searched or picked one list, the rest are safe.
FAQ
Why isn't an album cover or book jacket in the gallery?
The galleries show the photos people added. Artwork an item picked up from a link, like an album cover, a book jacket or a product shot, stays on the item but isn't counted here. See Get cover art and links for films, music and books.
Does tapping a photo take me to its item?
No, tapping opens the photo full screen. To change the item itself, go back to the list and open the item there.
Are gallery photos copies?
No. The gallery is another view of the same photos, so deleting one here removes it from its item too, for everyone on a Live List.
